2005 Grievance Training Summit
"This years Grievance and Finance Training Summit was a big success." stated SPFPA President David L. Hickey.

This years topics included grievance handling, arbitration cases and procedures, labor- management standards and compliance ,union member rights and officer responsibilities under the LMRDA, how SPFPA officers must maintain certain records required by law, safeguarding funds and assets in compliance with LMRDA, checklist for conducting audits and proper record keeping, filing LM-2 forms, and a of other legal issues concerning SPFPA members.


Secretary Dennis Eck talks about financing issues and  safeguarding funds and assets.
The U.S. Department of Labor was also on hand to explain the new compliance procedures and LM-2 requirements.
SPFPA Account Paul Cenko explains accounting procedures as President Hickey looks on.
SPFPA General Counsel Gordon Gregory talks about the proper grievance filing required for arbitrations and the law.
