REST IN PEACE BROTHER GERRY E. HARTLAGE

Brother Gerry E. Hartlage, beloved husband, father, and a leader and friend to our union passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2005.

Brother Gerry began his union career as SPFPA Local 166 President at the DaimlerChrysler Plant in Dayton, Ohio.  His dedication to the SPFPA and his members propelled him quickly to the full-time position of Director Region 3, a position he held unopposed for over 25 years.

Brother Gerry was a proud unionist who demanded as much from himself as he did others. His no-nonsense commitment to the service of  his members and the SPFPA set him apart as a leader on the International Executive Board and set a positive example for all who knew him.

Our condolences and prayers go out to the entire Hartlage family.  Gerry will be greatly missed.
