The International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA) hosted its Fourteenth Constitutional Convention on May 9th, 10th and 11th, at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada.
The International Union is proud of it’s tradition of funding airfare and hotel expenses to gain overwhelming attendance and a true democratic voice for SPFPA members. International President David L. Hickey and the International Executive Board set an aggressive plan for leading security professionals in the “RIGHT DIRECTION” of better service, improved training programs, reliable health and retirement programs for members and their families, aggressive organizing plans, creating new districts and building better communications.
It was an exciting and positive event! Many new locals and members were in attendance who stood ready to address important issues. The Delegates and committees faced a full agenda each and every session, and remained committed and focused to provide support and solutions to polices and procedures that further advance SPFPA and its members!
Each and every member should be proud of the Delegates and the work they accomplished. Together we are Strong and United !
SPFPA will achieve the improvements our members truly deserve.
